The NTP test works if the host is an NTP server. What i am looking to see is the time on each server on the network itself. Once i have the servers reporting their time i can check for those servers with incorrect times.

Thanks Alex.

How to check to see that all servers are time-synced to NTP

I have tests to check to see that servers are running W32Time, but I cannot seem to find a test to see if the time is actually synchronized on multiple servers.

Adding multiple Action Profiles to a single test

I have a matrix of staff that I need to notify in the event of a failure. We have about 20 people in several departments and about 30 products. I create an Action Profile for one combination of staff and products. But the matrix of staff (many who are responsible products) is becoming a bother. I am...

Sorry Alex, I was not precise enough in my question.

Is there another method of acknowledging a message than at the console? Could a recipient of an email respond in such a way to send an acknowledgement to HM?

Acknowledge via SMS or email

The Acknowledge is a great addition to the system. Now, is there a way to let recipient of an error respond to acknowledge that they got the error message and are going to take care of correcting it? Other than at the console that is.... Say it's the weekend and we get a 'server down' message. Is th...

Variable report schedules

Would it be possible to schedule the frequency of reports based on each report rather than a common schedule? A managerial report might print once every 30 minutes whereas one to the tech group might print every 1 minute.

Install 5.3 over 4.07

I have copied directory HostMonitor4 to directory HostMonitor5. I then installed 5.3 into directory Hostmonitor5. I got an initial message saying that the license was for an older version & I needed a new license. I tried to install the license monitor key from our existing version. It would not...

Unknown and then known RAM tests

I have approximately 30 servers under test. I am now looking at 8 of the tests for available RAM coming back as Unknown. Some of these will fix themselves later on and most all will work if I redo the test. Other servers are working fine at the moment. At another point in time, some of those servers...

Start stop HM

What I was referring to was an uninentional stop start where the person doing the stop did not notify anyone.

Start / Stop of HM itself

Can HM send out notification that HM has started or is in the process of shutting down? We had a situation where someone stopped the application in error and it went undiscovered.
