Test without schedule

Post by V Arun »

Hi Alex,

Is it possible to have tests without any scedule defined ? My requirement is to have a test which will be run by an operator through manual refresh as and when required. The test should be idle at other times (means without any schedule).

I would then group these tests in a folder and would like to just refresh the folder.

Highly appreciate.

Regards,
Arun

Without schedule at all? No this is impossible. But you may use irregular schedule, so test will be executed once a month. And operator will be able to "refresh" test item at any time (using "Refresh selected test(s)" command).

Hi,

What about disabling an entire folder ?
When needed, you just enable the folder, and the test are ran immediatly...

btw, in v4.60, when I enable an entire folder, only 1/2 of the items are enabled. When I select the remaining test and enable the selected tests, only 1/2 are enabled...

Pieter

Yeah, it should work

I cannot reproduce this problem. You have used "Enable this folder" menu item?
