Using 64bit ODBC in Hostmonitor

Hi all,

I have a specific ODBC connection to SAP HANA which requires me to use the 64bit ODBC to setup the connection with options that do not exist on the 32bit version of this ODBC connection.
How can I use this 64bit ODBC connection with Hostmonitor, it does not show in the list. It only shows the 32bit ODBC connectors.

I saw in the release notes that hostmonitor 14.96 made hostmonitor 64bit, so I tried updating to this version but it made no difference.

Of course 32bit application cannot work with 64bit DLLs. That's why we offer RMA x64 and HostMonitor x64.
RMA x64 available for everyone, 64 bit agent can perform ODBC Query tests using 64 bit ODBC drivers.

Now we can offer x64 version of HostMonitor. Its not available to everyone and its not needed by everyone, for most of customers x86 (32bit) version works more efficiently and uses less memory. On the other hand, if you have over 100,000 test items plus a lot of remote RCC operators and 1000+ Active RMA agents connected to HostMonitor, then you may need x64 version. It may use over 2GB of memory and in some cases works faster. Related forum thread.

Not exactly, we have HostMonitor x64 for several years, but its not listed on download page.
Note in "What's new" section informed you about some improvements, corrections related to this version.

Thank you for clarifying. Does migrating from Hostmonitor x86 to Hostmonitor x64 have a big impact on the existing tests? And could we maybe intall both versions on the same machine to test this?

Yes, you can replace single hostmon.exe module at any time, switching between 32 and 64 bit versions.
If you need this just for ODBC test, I would suggest just install RMA x64 and use agent for this test.
