All questions related to installations, configurations and maintenance of Advanced Host Monitor (including additional tools such as RMA for Windows, RMA Manager, Web Servie, RCC).
This is strange, because the file is in that version, so I suppose it has been running in that version already ?
Correct. HostMonitor updates file version if needed (e.g. after HostMonitor upgrade).
This HML file has already been opened by HostMonitor version, newer than 9.40.
Ok, but until a few hours ago it worked with a license, now, I restored the file from some months ago (unfortunally i don't have a recent backup) and now the file is from a new version. this looks strange to me.
So nows i have to upgrade the license, there is no other option ?
This is non-damaged file, it was created by HostMonitor version 9.42 - 9.50. You could not use this file with old version.
If you want to use HostMonitor version 9.40, you may check for backup copy - when HostMonitor converts file, it creates backup copy using ~HM extention, unless you canceled this operation.
If file is up to date, rename it back to *.HML and use it with old version of HostMonitor.
Another option: start new version, load HML file, use "File"->"Export to text file" function to create text file with test settings, close new version, start old version, import test settings from text file.

;You may comment the following line to import tests into current folder
DefaultFolder = Root\Germany\
When I create this folder, the error appears for the next folder.
is there a way to create those folders by default, because I have a more then 300.
You did not find any backup copy (created by yourself or created by HostMonitor)?
You should create folders using GUI or you may add CreateFolder command into import file.
E.g. CreateFolder = Root\USA Branch\Support\part2\
The value of this parameter should specify the full path to the folder that you want to create. CreateFolder = Root\USA Branch\Support\part2\ will successively create folders USA Branch (in the Root folder), Support (in USA Branch subfolder) and part2 (in Support subfolder).
If some (or all) of specified folders already exist, HostMonitor will not create second copy of them.
You may modify existing import file using any text editor with find&replace function. E.g.
replace ; Folder: Root\ to CreateFolder = Root\
