Windows Dominant Process Username
Is there a way to capture the User Name column displayed in Windows Task Manager with the Dominant Process alert? I run an IIS web server and the Dominant Process alert currently tells me the service and Process ID, but not the actual username, which for me is the site name since I run individual ap...

Thanks, didn't realize you guys added that. Looks like it's perfect. The only thing that would be a nice addition (I'm sure this has been mentioned), would be a time frame. So, if a process maintains above X % of CPU for X minutes, then notify. For now, I can set up a test that checks every X minute...

Determine which process is using all the CPU
Hi folks, I have a monitor set up to check CPU usage and when usage is over a defined threshold for a certain number of tests it alerts me by e-mail/pager. I would then typically log in and check the Windows task monitor to see which process is using up all the CPU and react accordingly. So far, tha...

Yeah, I know. I'd like to upgrade to latest, but money is very tight and I don't have $400 free right now. I did check the HM system logs, with nothing unusual reported. However, I just checked the event logs and it seems HostMon monitoring was stopping due to an unregistered version! I could swear ...

Scheduler seems to stop running
Running HM 6.82 with RMA 3.44. I have some action profiles that execute a script using RMA on some remote servers according a schedule (as defined in Options). When I first start HostMonitor everything runs fine and the scripts are run according to the schedule (every 10 mins). After a while it seem...

How do I perform an IISReset?
I need to perform an IISReset on a remote server. How would I do this with HostMonitor 4.86 (keeping in mind authentication needs to be made to restart that service, right?)

Exporting to another server
I need to migrate HostMonitor to another server. I tried exporting the hml file and importing it on the new server, but all the e-mail alert configurations don't seem to be transferring over. I have a lot of tests and don't want to have to recreate all the alert messages for every test. How do I res...

E-Mail Test
This has probably been suggested a million times, but I'd like to see an e-mail test capability so I don't have to fail a test to make sure my SMTP alerts are working. A simple test SMTP button and an address to test to would be extremely nice!

SMTP Test?
Is there a way I can test whether HM is sending mail out correct? Right now, it looks like the only way to test my mail configuration is to fail a monitor that has an SMTP alert on it. Would be nice to have a "send test e-mail option" somewhere.
