Windows Dominant Process Username

Post by infuseweb »

Is there a way to capture the User Name column displayed in Windows Task Manager with the Dominant Process alert? I run an IIS web server and the Dominant Process alert currently tells me the service and Process ID, but not the actual username, which for me is the site name since I run individual application pools.

Otherwise all I see is svchost.exe:123 and I'd rather see svchost.exe:somedomain.com

Thanks!

Starting from version 9.50, HostMonitor supports %ProcessOwner% variable.
It can be used in "Tune up Reply value" field (located on Test properties dialog) and in Action profiles.
E.g. Tune up Reply value field may look like the following:
%ProcessName%: %ProcessOwner%
