Hi all,
I'm considering this great tool for monitoring multiple networks I manage. Each site has a Windows 2000/2003 server, so the AHM software could be running at each site with no problem. Is there a master console what I can use the monitor all of the console from my office? It would have to communicate over the internet (NAT ports could be opened and configured, if needed).
Thanks for any help on this!

Monitor multiple seperate networks
Read about Remote Monitoring Agent (RMA)
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/rma-win/index.htm
and this (even if you don't use UNIX)
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/rma-unix/index.htm
You have to open only one Port (default 1055) from your Hub site to each remote site. In each remote site you can run one (or more if needed) instance of RMA that will perform all local tests.

Ok, I think I understand the communication now. I was reading some other posts saying this couldn't be done--it must have been on a previous version.
Do you have special licensing for service providers? Or are the packages on the web site applicable? I would be looking in the standard to professional range.
I will evaluate the software.... Thanks!

Re: Monitor multiple seperate networks
You may install HostMonitor on one server in your office and install RMA agents on each server you want to monitor. In HostMonitor's main window you may create particular folder for each server. I think, it would look like master console you need. You may access HostMonitor directly or from remote system using Remote Control Console (RCC): http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/rcc/index.htminvisik wrote:Is there a master console what I can use the monitor all of the console from my office? Also you may access HostMonitor using a web browser on any computer that is connected to the Internet. You just should install Web Service: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/webservice/index.htm
Quote from the manual:
============
This application works like an HTTP server and provides web interface for HostMonitor. It means you can install Web Service on a local or remote system and check (and control) HostMonitor in real time using a web browser on any computer that is connected to the Internet.

We sell software on a very low prices, so there no particular licensing option for service providers. Advanced Host Monitor package is available in several licensing options: Lite, Standard, Professional, Enterprise and Enterprise With Lifetime Updates. Please visit our web site for details: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/regmon.htminvisik wrote:Do you have special licensing for service providers?
