Alex,

I just checked the server and I am able to see the ODBC Data Source in the registry at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI\ODBC Data Sources.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Vidya.

The service got installed fine but when I started the service, I am not seeing the HostMonitor icon. Is this also because the OS is 64 bit?
HostMonitor is running on local system? Or you are working with HostMonitor remotely using Terminal Service?
What version of HostMonitor do you use?

Sorry, cannot explain these problems :(
May be your system is out of resources? Could you check resource usage? You may use standard Windows Task Manager to check Handles, GDI and USER objects.
Can you open Options or Test Properties dialogs? No errors?

Note: Windows 2000 works unstable if total Handle usage is about 12,000. Windows 2003 has a little higher limit.

Sorry for delay, but it seems we have found solution. To make it work you should create System DSN in 32-bit ODBC Data Source administrator (C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe). Could you try it, please?

Max
