Re: Acknowledge Until Date/Time
Thanks - I already do use the pause - the problem with that is I don't know when the alert was actually corrected. I typically have it send an alert when the problem has been corrected. When I use the pause - say to pause it for 4 hours, I won't get the alert that it was corrected/fixed until it run...

Acknowledge Until Date/Time
It would be really nice to have an Acknowledge and Stop Alerts "Until" option. If I have an issue going on and I have someone working on it, I could acknowledge it for say 3 hours. After 3 hours, it would start sending the alerts again.

Linked Tests and Agents
I have a number of tests I want to run on various different servers such as checking the space on the C drive and that various Windows services are running. Ideally I'd like to setup a single test and then have linked tests running for each server. It looks like the linked tests use the same agent. ...

Alert when remote server reboots
I'd like to have Host Monitor alert me when one of the servers it is monitoring using Active RMA has been rebooted (or when it has started up - either will work for me). I've tried setting up an NT Event Log test to look for event ID 6005 which is "The Event log service was started". When ...

System Time
I have a server that for some reason ends up with the wrong system date/time after a reboot (it normally is 24 hours earlier). I'm normally alerted to the issue from the event log at about midnight after the reboot occurs (and I don't remember to change it after I reboot). I'd like to do a check eve...

Cannot Retrieve ODBC sources list
I'm running HM ver 7.78 on a Windows 2003 server with an Active RMA client v 3.69 running on a Windows 2008 R2 server. I'm trying to setup an ODBC test. The ODBC works great on the server - but when I attempt to pull down the available data sources on an ODBC Query test, I get the message RMA Error:...

FTP Test
I need to check our customer's FTP site to see if any files exist on it. I don't know the file name(s) which is the problem. I've tried the Folder/File Availability and that does not seem to work - even when testing and knowing file file name. I put in the following (with changes to sitename/securit...

NT Event Viewer and acknowledgement
I'm attempting to have HostMonitor look at NT Events. What I would like to setup is when a "bad" event occurs, I want the test to fail continously until it is acknowledged and have various steps of communication escalation based on the amout of time (or number of failures). Once acknowledg...
