System Time

Post by sstimson »

I have a server that for some reason ends up with the wrong system date/time after a reboot (it normally is 24 hours earlier). I'm normally alerted to the issue from the event log at about midnight after the reboot occurs (and I don't remember to change it after I reboot). I'd like to do a check every 30 minutes to check the system date / time - is there a way to do this with Host Monitor? I'm using an Active RMA agent on the remote server that has the date/time issue.

Thanks,
Steve

NTP service is running on the server? Then you may use NTP/SNTP test method.

Otherwise you need to use Shell Script test method...
