Missing Schedules

Post by simonl »

I have small problem with HostMonitor4.07. When I try to change schedule for whole folder it doesn’t appear after that on each test inside that folder. Its just became blank. I think it is some sort of bug. :-?

Cannot reproduce this problem. Did you restart HostMonitor after changes? Or you just mark all tests in the folder, click Edit, change schedule, click Ok, select single test and click Edit again?

I just selected all tests in one folder then clicked “EDIT” after that I selected the schedule what I want and clicked “OK”. Then I checked each of the tests separately and schedule wasn’t there.

Still cannot reproduce this problem. Could you please send your settings (HML file with tests, all *.LST files, and hostmon.ini file) to support@ks-soft.net ?

I reproduced that issue again. After upgrade to 4.10 I lost the links to the schedule for all tests. Thanks God I have only 125 tests.

Did you use "Upgrade/Repair" option of the installation program? Or you used "Installation" option? In second case setup program overwrites configuration files...

Does anyone have similar problem? If yes, could you please send your settings to us (support@ks-soft.net)? We checked code and did not find any error, and we cannot reproduce this problem :-(

Or may be you installed HostMonitor 4.10 into different directory and did not copy all configuration files? In this case you will lose links to schedule.

I used "Upgrade/Repair" option when I did upgrade and I did not install it to different directory.

Missing Schedules on Server Rebbot

Post by geoff.king@telco-nz.co.nz »

I am having a similar problem. We have recently upgraded to Host Monitor 4.07 (did not upgrade, removed old version and installed fresh).

Whenever the server that host monitor is installed on (installed as s service) is rebooted Host monitor losses the 'Schedule' for all tests. The test schedule for all tests becomes null and all have to be manually reconfigured.

Do you have a fix for this ?

Server OS: Win2k Server SP3
HostMonitor: 4.07
