Hello!
My question is, if it is possible with the hostmonitor, to send ping to pcs that they are behind proxy. And if therefore it is it like forming it.

Thanks!

Ping thru proxy? I believe its impossible in principle. TCP packets can be sent thru SOCKS 4 proxy, TCP and UDP packets can be sent thru SOCKS 5 proxy. But no proxy server will transfer ICMP packets.

If proxy server configured properly, it does not accept any connections from outside.
In this case system behind proxy must inform you in some way, e.g. it can upload some file to ftp server at regular interval and you will be able to check that file.. or something like that.
Or you may install HostMonitor behind proxy, and setup monitor to publish HTML reports on web server.
