Hi
I used to use InternetSeer until I found HM.
A feature of internet seer I really liked was the weekly performance reports that were sent via email.
Is this possible with HM?

TIA

HostMonitor does not have direct implementation of this function but its possible:

1st method)
- create auxiliary test (e.g. ping 127.0.0.1, this test always will have "alive" status")
- use irregular schedule for the test (e.g. Start test one time per week at Sunday 00:05)
- create alert profile with 2 "good" actions (1st action is "Generate reports", 2nd action is "Send e-mail"), use "Repeat: until status changes" option. Assign this alert profile to the test.
HostMonitor will perform test once per week, create reports and send e-mail. To reset statistical counters you can use options located on Statistics page in the Folder Properties dialog.

2nd method)
- select folder (if you need reports for all folders, select Root folder)
- open Folder Properties dialog
- specify list of reports on Reports page and provide command line to execute some 3rd party command line utility that will send reports by e-mail
- specify time to reset counters on Statistics page and mark "Create reports before reset statistics" option.

Regards
Alex
