Hi

Is it possible to get a testid in the syslog for what test initiated an actionprofile

Are you talking about syslog action (http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... #actSyslog) ?
Then you may use %TestID% macro variable.

No it is not syslog action I want, I mean the hostmonitor logfile what hostmonitor makes including what action profiles excecuted.

I think HostMonitor offers better option - Quick Log.
You may open Quick Log pane using menu View->Quick Log, there is option to show recent actions and/or tests.
So you may check list of action and use popup menu "Find the test" to find and select test item that triggered specific action.
