Sensatronic temperature sensor

Post by gdr »

We're planning to put a temperature sensor on our computer room.
I read Hm manual an find that it support Sensatronic MODEL E
On sensatronic site model E doesn't exist anymore.
Is Model E4 supported anyway ?
or i must buy unit U1 or em1 ?

Why do you think so? As I can see from the home page of Sensatronics company, model E has been still supported. Quote:

Concerned about heat near your IT equipment, the Model E is the choice for ease and price.

"IT Temperature Monitor" test method is able to work with works with E4, E16, EM1,CM16, U4, U16 devices.
In fact all similar devices support SNMP protocol, so you can use HostMonitor to perform SNMP Get test method.
