Overall Summery Report

Is there a way to have hostmonitor send out an email once an hour with the number of alerts up/down? Basically an overall status?

"Alerts up/down"? Probably you mean "test items"?

Sure, you may use built-in scheduler (Options dialog), action profile with "scheduled" Send E-Mail action and some macro variables.
