rcc auto reconnect
rcc auto reconnect
couple of items on rcc.
1. need a way to auto reconnect if the connection gets broke.
2. some way of alerting, maybe with sound when the connection is broken, we know that it does pop up when it is down, but that is not always noticed in a timely fashion.
3. after a connection is made we have noticed that the login box stays up, at times this can be confusing, as to whether or not one is logged in.

Item #1 would be extremely helpful!
Just want to add my $0.02 on this - auto-reconnect would make RCC just that much more useful. I find I have to put the timeout pretty high just to make sure it doesn't disconnect itself at some point for some reason. As I use it as a status in the NOC, having to remote into the machine that is displaying it and tell it to reconnect is a bit bothersome.
"Play sound when connection lost" option implemented in version 6.50, available at http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/downpage.htm
"Auto-reconnect" will be implemented later

Is this still on the drawing board?
This is something I think also should be implemented...
Including the auto update of the RCC client when a newer version is found on the server.
