Change testing time after a failed state.

Post by soadmin »

Hello,

Is there anyway to change a test's timing after it fails?
Example: I have PING test that cycles every 10 minutes. What I'm trying to figure out is, when the test fails, how do I get it to test every minute (or N seconds) until the test returns to a good state then it can go back to it's regular 10 minute testing cycle. Right now, I don't how long it takes things to come back up within those 10 minutes. Everything is always down for 10 minutes because of the testing cycle.
Sorry in advance if this explanation is not the best.

I think you could figure it out by using dependent tests. http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... htm#Master
