Running W2k Server-SP3 and Hostmon 4.62. We have a proxy server set up for internet access. I have three http test set up. Two for internal web sites, one for external web site. The internal web sites work when I add the host name to the proxy bypass list under options. The external web site reports a bad status. The url I'm testing for is https://www.itleverage.com:443/irt. www.yahoo.com works fine. I've tried everything that your application supports. Proxy, no proxy, specified the port (when I tried the url test).
If I remove the entries from Proxy bypass list, it works, but the other test fail. What should I do?
Proxy Problems
HTTP test method does not support HTTPS protocol. Use URL test to check this server.
So, what test method do you use? "HTTP" or "URL"?If I remove the entries from Proxy bypass list, it works, but the other test fail. What should I do?
Bad status means HostMonitor received responce from web server. But this responce indicates some error. When I tried to use this URL server returned 404 error (page not found). I think you should remove trailing dot.The external web site reports a bad status. The url I'm testing for is https://www.itleverage.com:443/irt.

The url test was failing as well. I tried both http and url and both failed. The trailing dot was not in the url field.
I fixed the problem by removing the /irt from the url address. This is the file that is supposed to be loaded, but the page loads this file without specifying it in the url.
Thanks for making me think harder!

Interesting. On my system HostMonitor works fine with both "https://www.itleverage.com/" and "https://www.itleverage.com/irt/" URLs.
Strange proxy behavior...?
