IP address

Is it possible to find ip address of member of chat by using ip-tool? If yes , how can i get that?

Do you mean HTTP based chat? IP-Tools cannot help you because all clients connect to web server. Only web server know who's who.

How about for a one to one chat through a messenger type prog?

In this case you can use Connection Monitor utility to check list of connections from your system.

It depends on how this chat implemented. Chat is too common notion. Please, provide more information.
