Remote server access (VNC tunneling through RMA stream)

Post by plambrecht »

Hi,

This is maybe an advanced question, but it looks like a good extention of the RMA.

It would be cool, if I could remote control a server with a problem.
Rightclick it, select 'Connect with VNC' and that's it...

For straight on servers, that is no problem, I've added a custom menu item and stored the IP of the remote server in %Commentline10%

But for RMA servers, that's something else.
Most of these servers are behind firewalls, and for security issues, VNC is not allowed.
It would be great if somehow the VNC traffic could be tunneled trough the RMA stream, so that we can access the remote server...

as I said, a cool idea, but..................................

VNC thru RMA? Due to security issues?
But VNC may use SSH
