Alex:
We have a older NT4.0 machine (but with 'latest' MS patches/SPs).
However, pdh.dll is not on the machine. I found a version of pdh.dll at
Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... layLang=en
The readme note for this says to NOT install pdh.dll in system directory but rather in application directory.
When I attempt to register (regsvr32 pdh.dll), I receive an error message:
"pdh.dll was loaded, but the DLLRegisterServer entry point was not found.
DLLRegisterServer may not be exported, or a corrupt version of pdh.dll may be in memory."
Any thoughts?
Win NT4 - RMA: 301 - Cannot load pdh.dll
You don't need to register this DLL by regsvr32, just copy into RMA's or system directory. Actually I would copy this DLL into system (%SystemRoot%\system32\) directory because Windows 2000 and Windows XP has this DLL in the system directory. Also I think if you install Service Pack for Windows NT, this DLL will be located in system directory as well.
