AUtomated Report returns Unknown status for File watcjes

I have configured a report to run every 5 minutes that creates an html page with the test results of the 101 tests I've set up in HM. When the server runs an automatically generated report, most of the file check tests return an "Unknown" status. When I log onto the server and open the Host Monitor client, these tests are good. However, if I open the AutoGenerate options and click the button "Generate Reports now" I get a good report when I refresh my browser.

On the new server, Host Monitor is configured to run as a service with a domain admin as the service account. I configured it by grabbing the necessary config files from the old server and fixing the few things that needed to be changed. The person who used to manage the server said this is a problem they have observed this problem since 4.x, that is why the old server has HostMon running as a foreground app all the time.

As I understand you do not have any report related problem. Problem is HostMonitor started as service cannot perform some tests. Right?
On the new server, Host Monitor is configured to run as a service with a domain admin as the service account.
May be HostMonitor cannot use specified account (e.g. password was changed)? Could you check NT Event Log? Do you see message like "Logged on as user ..." or "Cannot logon as user ..." message there?

BTW: You are using reports because HostMonitor is running on remote system?
