While testing the availability of an FTP server (with authentication)
the HostMonitor doesn't close the connection, which leads to many open connections on the FTP server. We are using GlobalScape Secure FTP, which can deal with a specific number of open connections.
Since the test run every 5 minutes, and the server can handle 200 concurrent connections, the ftp server service stop.
Is it possible to configure HostMonitor to close the connection after the test passed successfully?
Cannot reproduce such problem.
Could you please provide more information:
- HostMonitor version?
- Windows version?
- Internet Explorer version?
- Do you use any antivirus monitor?
I have used similar configuration (except we do not have TrendMicro OfficeScan) and still cannot reproduce the problem.
