I would like to know what type of encryption and what strength of encryption is used on the Host Monitor server when you enter passwords into specific tests.
Also, when those passwords are transmitted to the RMA, what is the type of encryption and the strength?

Thank you.
How are passwords protected?
MD5 + Twofish encryptionAlso, when those passwords are transmitted to the RMA, what is the type of encryption and the strength?
Depends on protocol for which the password is used. Also when those passwords are transmitted from the RMA to the tested hosts, what is the type of encryption and the strength?
E.g. if you setup RADIUS test method, password will be encoded with MD5 algorithm. If you setup HTTP or POP3 test items password will be sent without encryption (base64). If you setup Process test, password will be encoded by Windows. And so on....
How passwords are stored in HML file? We are using our own encryption. Its not very strong and can be broken. That's why I will not recommend to share your drive over InternetI would like to know what type of encryption and what strength of encryption is used on the Host Monitor server when you enter passwords into specific tests.
