Hostmonitor v5.34 is crashing when it encounters a busy com port do to it dialing out to send a previously failed test. This started a couple of months ago. Since it started I have gone from v4.86 to 5.34 and selected the modem in the pager device settings. The modem is a US Robotics 56k PCI on com3. I'm running it as a service under WinXP fully patched. How many tests fail at the same time? I just tested HostMonitor - 150 test items fail at the same time and 150 "send message to pager" actions were initiated. No problem so far.
May be your system does not have enough resources to handle so many additional windows? I mean Windows resources (GDI and USER objects). Could you check GDI and USER resource usage using standard Windows Task Manager? Do you have started other havy applications on the same system?
