It is not possible to close the remote session, if the hostmon daemon ist running.
I used "mstsc /v:hostname /F -console" and the server is running "Windows 2003 Server".

I think this is a bug

Yes, may be this is a bug but I don't think this is HostMonitor's bug. HM doesn't do anything to prevent session from closing. Does Windows display any error message when you are trying to close session?

No. But it does not close until I stop the service.
