Low priority question - don't need immediate answer
I've recently started examining the system log on a regular basis. One thing that makes it a bit hard to page through is a large number of "RCI Connection Established. Operator: Admin" messages.
I looked for a way to suppress these messages but couldn't see any way to do this. Under Options | Log Settings | Advanced Logs there are a couple of options:
Record info about successful actions (currently UNCHECKED)
Record info about failed actions (currently CHECKED)
I would think that "RCI Connection Established" is a SUCCESSFUL action and would therefore NOT be recorded in the system log -- because I've left this option UNchecked -- but this does not seem to be the case.
"RCI Connection Established" is a "success audit" event. HostMonitor always records such messages. Looks like we need to add new options for System log:
- success audit
- failure audit
