Port Usage Question

I’m using Host Monitor v4.42. I’m trying to set up a test to monitor a specific service on a server. When I try to select the service that I want to monitor an error is returned that states “Warning: Cannot retrieve service list for Unity-1” Unity-1 being my server of course. I talked with one of the network admins and apparently we block quite a few ports on that server. Can you tell me which port(s) specifically that host monitor uses to set up a ‘Services’ test?

HostMonitor uses Windows API. Windows API uses RPC. RPC may use any port above 1024.
So, If you want to check some service on system behind firewall, I would recomment to use RMA
