I have an ODBC query test.
Select user_name || '-' || program from myTable
I set it to "alert when field in row 1 col 1 contains -
The test shows some text
STS - aspnet_wp.exe
You would expect it to alert me that it found the dash "-"
between STS and aspnet_wp.exe.
But it shows status OK.
If I say "does not contain" it also passes the test.
I have it set so that if field is unavailable, set status OK.
But when the field is available and contains the dash, I want an alert. But it won't show a failure.
I'm using Adv Host Monitor 4.42, on Windows XP.
thanks
David Allen
ODBC Alert when field contains .... does not work
Problem fixed. Update available at www.ks-soft.net/download/hm447.zip
Also this new version supports new SNMP Trap test method. If you want to try this method, I would recommend to copy your existent Advanced Host Monitor into another directory (or another computer), unzip new modules, and setup SNMP Trap tests for testing purpose only!
