RMAService Error when starting agent too fast

Dear sirs,

When I stop de RMA on the client-side and I start it too fast (within 10-30 seconds) the following error appears in the log2.txt:

[26-1-2004 16:44] RMAService Error: cannot open port #1055. Probably port in use

And of course connection is not possible. When I wait for a whole minute, than the service is being started correctly.

Perhaps something to attend to in the next version ?

Metallator:

I've noticed the same thing ( see my post in http://www.ks-soft.net/cgi-bin/phpBB/vi ... php?t=1160)

I've started using the RMA Manager to start/restart RMAs. It seems to be faster and not subject to this issue.

There is update at www.ks-soft.net/download/rma112.zip
Better install RMA 1.11 (included into Advanced Host Monitor 4.16 package) before using this update.

Thanks! It works much better now. I've stopped and started the service like crazy and no connection errors occured

Both tested on NT4 and Windows2000.
