Typo in RMA Service Description

Post by cspafford »

I noticed today that in the service description for the RMA, it says "KS Remote Monitoritng Agent". "Monitoritng" is spelled incorectly.

I cannot find this mistake. What version of the RMA do you use?

Hey Alex,

I've run across typos in the manual and in HM. I've refrained from posting about them because for the most part they are not 'bugs' and I am more interested in functionality than I am correct spelling.

But I would be willing to contribute what I find - maybe a new forum for "Reporting Typos" in doc and product might be appropriate?

For example, in HM, test type ODBC query, dialog ODBC SQL test, "Alert when" drop-down:

"is > then" should be "is > than"
"is < then" should be "is < than"

Since your product has broad international appeal (network troubles are the same all over the world), I promise not to get hung up on regional differences - e.g. UK vs. US English - the "z" vs. the "s" thing or "color" vs. "colour"

This information will be useful for us but I don't think we need new forum. Its just mistakes, we will not have conversation, we will fix it :-)
So, please send your reports to support@ks-soft.net

"is > then" should be "is > than"
"is < then" should be "is < than"
Thank you. Fixed.

Regards
Alex

This actually turned out to be the - card in the server. Weird, but true. It was mispelling some words, but not enough to be obvious. Either way, AHM wasn't the problem after all.

Hmmm, I thought most modern - cards came with a built-in spell-checker

This particular card is quite old, and the spell-checker is way out of date....
