Sending message to 6 pagers hangs and stops ALL PAGING

HELP!

We own the enterprise edition of HostMonitor and it occasionally locks up on sending pages (every other day or so). It works fine when only one or two people are in the list, but it hangs when many (8) users are in the action profile. The paging is the only part that hangs. The rest of the program functions fine. Just the paging queues up and then it stops. We don’t have a way for it to notify us that the paging is hung. This is causing a HUGE issue for our shop because we run 24/7 and we are getting failures that our IT team is not getting notified on. We have upgraded to the latest version without it fixing the problem. I have changed the modem properties from the v.everything to any available. We only have one com port on this server so we can’t add another modem. Our system log is 150 MB in size so it does not open.



PLEASE help ASAP if possible. THIS is a URGENT issue for us.

HP/Compaq DL380 2.4 Ghz 1.5 GB ram
Windows 2000 SP 4
HostMonitor ver 4.16 Enterprise
US Robotics v.everything

What action do you use? "Send message to pager"? Or "Send message to beeper"?

Could you please explain how it hangs? Do you see popup window on screen? Is there some error in the log displayed by this window? Do you see some errors in system log?

Our system log is 150 MB in size so it does not open.

It does not open by HostMonitor or by web browser?
if you rename this file or copy it into different folder, HostMonitor will create new one (small).
