How can I have hostmonitor send a net send message to a remote machine when status is bad?

Execute external program - ie. machine-xxx.cmd when rules is in place.

It's easy, just add "Execute external program" action to the action profile that is used by the test.
Use string like "net send username message" to start NET command.
