I am evaluating Host Monitor 4.0.7 now. just want to clearfy one thing. If I want to pull SNMP information from a Nokia Check Point firewall, Can I do it? Or I need to install a RM agent in order to pull SNMP and other CPU or NT log information?
For example, I want to pull CPU utilization (.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.1) on 192.168.1.1 (Nokia Checkpoint FW). HM keep complaining the OID is incorrect.
Can RMAgent do http get/https get/http proxy/DNS query? and
SNMP pulling

You don't need to install RMA in order to pull SNMP.
You may install RMA to retrieve CPU Usage and NT Log information. But if HostMonitor started under administrator's account in the same network with checked system, it can retrieve this information without RMA.
>For example, I want to pull CPU utilization (.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.1) on 192.168.1.1 (Nokia Checkpoint FW). HM keep complaining the OID is incorrect.
Please remove first dot (.), should be "1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.1". Also, if this is single instance object, add ".0" to the end 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.1.0
>Can RMAgent do http get/https get/http proxy/DNS query? and
Not yet. I think these protocols always allowed on firewalls, why do you need RMA to perform these tests?
