All questions related to installations, configurations and maintenance of Advanced Host Monitor (including additional tools such as RMA for Windows, RMA Manager, Web Servie, RCC).
im somewhat new to this monitoring stuff and know very little about OID etc... However i was monitoring some Cisco Switches at the beginning of our trial. Which were then opdated / changed to Meraki swtiches (the OS, not the hardware). After this change all i can monitor is "ping".. Is there something i am missing? I have tried all the Cisco tests and none give any response
I think first you should check manual offered by manufacturer of these devices, then check device settings. Check what protocols are enabled, what options are used, what authentication and encryption methods are enabled, what password is set and so on.
Looks like SNMP v2c and SNMP v3 is supported so if you setup the switch and HostMonitor correctly some SNMP test methods should work, at least SNMP Get, SNMP Table, Traffic Monitor, Interfaces Status. https://documentation.meraki.com/Genera ... figuration
