Perhaps a stupid question, but I am looking at how you can play a sound via RCC when a trigger falls on 'Bad'.
But I don't hear any sounds at all.
The moment I start RCC, I navigate to the 'More options' tab.
Then to test it, I checked the PLAY SOUND box under the heading 'When connection to Hostmonitor is lost' and linked a .wav file that is locally on my computer.
I then checked the PERFORM PLAY SOUND ACTION check box and in both the 'Bad' / 'Good' status sound file I used different .wav files to hear the differences.
Then I click 'OK' and log in.
After this I ensure that a trigger is in the 'Bad' status, so that it appears in the RCC overview, but in some way there is sound?
Am I doing something wrong or are there any settings that I forgot to apply?
Thanks in advance for the answer.

Re: Sound file RCC
Have you added "Play sound" action into alert profile assigned to the test?Perform "play sound" actions
With this option enabled RCC replicates "Play sound" actions that were initiated by the HostMonitor and plays those sounds on the system where RCC runs.
You should specify path to "bad" and "good" sound files (WAV, MID). These files must be located on drive that is accessible from RCC system (system where RCC is running).
Notes:
If several test items changed status simultaneously and HostMonitor played both ("good" and "bad") sound files, RCC will play "bad" sound only.
Even if "Play sound" actions were configured with "Show Wakeup window" option, RCC will not show "WakeUp" window unless you enable "Perform 'show popup window' actions" option as well
