MIB Browser version?
Where all components installed? On the same system? hostmon.exe and mibbrowser.exe located in the same folder?

It's version 2.12, launched through RCC (on my local machine), AHM is installed on a separate machine.
In fact, I probably 'mis-installed' it I just reinstalled the RCC and put back the tools separately, which now seems to work much better, sorry for the inconvenience

If you copied some extra files to remote system then MIB Browser could "think" its installed on HostMonitor system and did not allow to modify SNMP credentials
