SNMP Problem.

Post by chowky »

Dear Sir,

I have the problem on the SNMP testing method. When I install the microsoft MIB into the machine, the enterprise OID is 311 and I want to check that the memory available as .1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.1.1.1.0 but I can't check it from the HostMonitor. It's reply 'Unknown Variable (OID)' rather than placing the .0 after the string. I use the snmp walker can detect the variable and display the enterprise is 311. Hope can be solved.

What do you mean? You already provided ".0" at the end of OID. Is this OID represents single instance object?
BTW What did you specify as agent address? "<local system>" or IP address?
