Tests are not refreshed automatically

Post by itelio »

Hi,

We use the KS Hostmon in version 12.32 and we noticed that sporadically some tests are not automatically updated.

Today was another case where all checks stopped at around 1 a.m. and the monitoring was practically frozen. After a manual refresh, the retry was carried out, but the system did not do it independently. It only works after restarting the KS Advanced Monitoring service on the server.
At the host monitoring server I could not find any abnormalities at the time in the event log.

We noticed the behavior before the update to version 12.32 but only so sporadically that we thought the update would fix it.
The RMA log at the customer only says "Connection Error" 1x and then nothing.

What could that be? Where can you see why the tests are no longer refreshed automatically?
What causes the monitoring to silently stop performing checks?
Would a further update to version 12.40 make sense?

Server: Windows Server 2016 current patch level
KS version: 12.32
Hard disk space, server utilization, everything is normal.

Sincerely yours

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your prompt reply. That's great.
I just updated to version 12.40.
But apparently version 12.40c was installed?
I will now watch how it is.

Thanks again and have a nice day.
