since a few days we have troubles with Hm. As soon hm service starts on the server (w12k-r2), we see the event id 10028
“DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer xxxxx using any of the configured protocols; requested by PID 5f0 (C:\Program Files (x86)\HostMonitor\hostmon.exe)�.
the Error is always reported over 5 different Systems and all test´s relevant to those Systems are working fine.
I tried uninstalling the virus scanner, uninstalling the last ms patches, updated to 10.64 and nothing helped.

Its not about HostMonitor, some Windows problem.. may be related to your DNS server.
Do you have a .com as part of your local domain?
Do you have the following lines in hosts file?
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 localhost.com
127.0.0.1 www.localhost.com
If not, try to add these lines and reboot system
