Hi Alex,

Trying to install HM4.0 but facing problem on RMA and WEB Interface. WEB interfaces gives me an error :

Response from Hostmonitor's Web Service:

Transmission error (Web Service <-> HostMonitor): "Connection error"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Possible reasons:
- HostMonitor not started
- RCI interface disabled
- HM Web Service configured incorrectly (wrong TCP Port or IP address)
- network problem

RMA manager can´t talk to clients, even installed on the same computer.

Checked the help, check all the configs and can´t find the reason.

Any help ?

Thanks,

Regards,

Jromariz.

I need to see your configuration: hostmon.ini, webservice.ini, and users.lst files. Also, what IP addresses of the systems where HostMonitor and Web Service installed?

>RMA manager can´t talk to clients, even installed on the same computer.

Sorry, I do not understand what clients do you mean?

Alex,

The clients are remote management agents (RMA). Just sent you the files and an explanation.

Thanks,

We received message from your anti-virus system instead of files:
"O arquivo webservice.ini foi substituido. Motivo: The file met the blocking options set in the anti-virus system."
Could you zip files and send archive?

>The clients are remote management agents (RMA)

So, it means HostMonitor cannot communicate with agent.
In this case we need rma.ini file and "bad" log from the agent as well. Or you may check that log file by yourself, probably it contains explanation.
BTW have you provide password for the agent? It will not work with empty password.
