Hi all,
I have an snmp GET test running for temperature check on my Riverbed Steelhead
1.3.6.1.4.1.17163.1.1.2.9.0
That's fine.
Now I want to check another MIB. The "Half-closed connections"
1.3.6.1.4.1.14823.1.1.5.2.4
http://www.oidview.com/mibs/14823/STEELHEAD-MIB.html
When I try "Get value" in HostMonitor, I get:
SNMP error: No such name
I tried to add .0 as well, same problem.
I tried MIB Browser, but I'm not really familiar with that.
Any help is appreciated.

Sorry for giving the answer myself.
I've got support in the Riverbed Forum
.1.3.6.1.4.1.17163.1.1.5.2.4.0
So a "." in the beginning and ".0" in the end.
So my problem is solved, but
can anyone explain why this is different to the temperature MIB ?

HostMonitor removes leading '.' anyway so it makes no difference.
I assume you just used wrong OID 1st time

Just to clarify (even I have missed this
)
In the first case I tried
1.3.6.1.4.1.
14823 .1.1.5.2.4
Then I was pointed to
.1.3.6.1.4.1.
17163 .1.1.5.2.4.0
So the change from 14823 to 17163
and adding the ".0" did the trick.
You are right Alex, the leading "." is removed by HM
Thanks
