The message in the reply field is: Error: script returns no results.
The number of recurrences increases fast (at a rate of about one per second).

Perhaps you are using "Repeat test" action for this test item? So HostMonitor start action and repeat the test again and again.
If you need such action, please adjust its settings, e.g. start after 1st failure only.

Other 64bit server doesn't have this issue, so it seems something goes wrong with the connection betwoon the agent and the server.

I'll open another topic regarding the shell-script.
