Hi all,
I am still running HM 6.80 and we are changing domains and I was wondering what the easiest way is to update email addresses contained in the alert profiles that have several actions. Is there a config file that can be easily updated that contains the parameters for the alert/action profiles?
I am tyring to not have to go into each individual action properties and update the TO: fields to add the new smtp address.
Thanks in advance for any help shared, cheers.

If you have not used global (user defined) variables, you have to change all profiles manually.
I would recommend to setup such variables then change profiles using variable name instead of static address so next time modifications will not require much time

Don't forget about folder level variables!
I have a very distributed reporting structure, so I use them extensively. In fact I use two alert profiles to address hundreds of tests on dozens of monitored devices (and growing). This way if we get a new technician and he/she takes over an existing device, I move the folder to the new 'parent' folder (for that technician). The test then inherits the new folder level variable and emails accordingly. Much more flexible for me than global variables.
As for making the change, first I would simply set up your variables and define your new alert profile(s). As for modifying the tests, I assume you could do it through HML manager or Replicator, but all I did was group select the tests from the console, right-click and [Edit...], then select the new alert profile.
