Hi Alex,
As you know, I'm a long time user and huge fan of AHM. I recently accepted a new Net Admin position and AHM would be a huge benefit to my department.
I've downloaded and installed the demo, created 50 or so tests to demonstrate the tremendous flexibility of HM. I've given a 1-hour presentation to my group showing them the demo. Now the key members of my group want to play with it a bit themselves using RCC and I've set up a machine that they can RDP into that is running RCC.
The problem is that my coworkers keep reporting that their tests are not working. This is due to the nag screen suspending the testing until it is acknowledged. This is happening several times a day. Even though the RCC displays a message telling them this is happening, they still have to have me access the test server and acknowldede the message.
I'm sympathetic to the need for a nag screen but maybe once a day would be sufficient? My coworkers are having a hard time getting AHM to function and are beginning to question whether this is the tool to use. Since I have used AHM for 6 years, I KNOW this is the tool I want but I'm trying to justify the expenditure based on its added value to other members of my department.
This is only a sugggestion but my wish is that, in the future, the nag screen was less intrusive. (Is it really necessary to suspend testing?).
Thanks,
Fewer nag screens on demo version
Yep, that's kind of what we saw. It took me about 10-12 days to get AHM installed and then set up the 50 or so tests and several reports that both demonstrated the flexibility of AHM and also tested in-house items known to have been a problem in the past. Then a couple of days to schedule a demo meeting. By then, I'm past the 2 week threshholdKS-Soft wrote:(for 1st 2 weeks of evaluation period).
May be we can extend this period to 3 weeks![]()
Regards
Alex

Hopefully, I'll be able to persuade my team and you'll be seeing an order from us shortly.
