All I'm asking is for you to consider using %HM_FILEGUID% as a primary field in your dataset, ODBC or otherwise.

We will think about this when version 8 will be in development.
Do you really need this? or you think this option might be useful for somebody else?

There is no immediate need for this capability, but as our implementation grows this will be useful. And it's a good time to mention it, since you are in the midst of redefining your data collection/storage strategy. No need to wait until v9 or 10 if you're addressing it in v8, right?
