Early warning if launching second instance of HM

Hi !

Currently, if you accidentally launch a second instance of HostMon.exe on a machine already running HM you get a warning ("port already in use") - but at this point the second instance is already up and running which can produce unwanted results, I suppose.

Would it be possible to warn the user at a much earlier point before the second instance is actually capable of doing anything (launch action profiles etc.) ?

Or may be before starting second instance of HM show dialog/message window which say that HM is already runing.

HostMonitor performs such check for service instance and we plan to add such test for application as well.
I have increased priority of the task

Also note, on rare occasions I need to launch the application mode console. It would be nice if launching the application would:

Along with the warning give the user the option to launch RCC instead.
Offer to stop the service and continue in application mode.
