problems with Active Agent

All questions related to installations, configurations and maintenance of Advanced Host Monitor (including additional tools such as RMA for Windows, RMA Manager, Web Servie, RCC).

problems with Active Agent

I tried to install an active agent:

Hostmonitor
- HM 7.22c / Option / Active RMA: Accept connection port 5056
- RMA-Manager: Item Name and password

Agent:
- Active RMA Setup: Agent Identification: Name and Password (same as in RMA-Manager)
- Hostmonitor Parameters: IP-Address (HM) and Port 5056
- Remote Management not set.
- Activate the application
- Active Remote Monitor says: "Connected to HM"

Result:
- RMA-Manager: not connected !!!
- HM: View / RMA Server Status: I see that this RMA is connected

My problem:
I can not add a test for this agent.
Error in the tests are: RMA - Connection Error

Can anyone help me ?

Your configuration looks correct. Do you see just "Connection error" message, or there is some additional information, like: "Invalid argument was supplied"?

Sure, RMA Manager is not connected because Remote Management not set.
I can not add a test for this agent.
Error in the tests are: RMA - Connection Error
Well, "RMA - Connection Error" means you have created record for Passive RMA, not Active.
When Active RMA is not connected to HostMonitor, HostMonitor shows "RMA not connected" message in Reply field.
