I am using HostMonitor 7.22c and RMA for Windows 3.64; both on Windows 2K3 servers.
I do a number of time sensitive tests using an active RMA behind a firewall. In the event that the RMA gets disconnected or the service is stopped, the tests that use the RMA simply do not run. I don't even get the courtesy of an unknown status.
One would assume that if the scheduled time for a test came due but the remote agent required to perform the test was unavailable that it would return a status of unknown.
Is there a way to test for the availability of an active RMA that could in turn trigger an action?
Thank you.
Active RMA Alert
HostMonitor 7.22c comes with Passive RMA 3.70 and Active RMA 3.10. Please use all components of the software from the same package.I am using HostMonitor 7.22c and RMA for Windows 3.64; both on Windows 2K3 servers.

===============
HostMonitor uses more flexible schedule for the tests that should be performed by Active RMA, e.g. if test has to be performed immediately but Active RMA is not connected while it was connected several minutes ago, HostMonitor may wait for another connection up to 4 min before assigning Unknown status to the tests. Note: if you select the test item and click Refresh button, HostMonitor will not wait for connection, it will set Unknown status right away;

I think you will see Unknown status if you wait a little.
